Habibu Zango is an entrepreneur, business executive and project-development professional with multidisciplinary experience across haulage and transportation, logistics, project management, infrastructure development, marine operations, contracting and business development.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of BHB International Ltd, where he has been involved in container haulage, transportation and logistics operations since 2016. His professional experience also includes operations and marketing within the financial-services sector and extensive involvement in contracting, project coordination and development initiatives.
Through his project-management and contracting activities, Habibu has been involved in the coordination of human development and empowerment programmes, civil construction, building renovation, electrical works, solar street-lighting projects, borehole and water infrastructure and other community and institutional development initiatives.
He also has substantial experience in marine and maritime business development, including the coordination of opportunities involving towage operations, vessel management, shipping services, dredging and other marine activities. His work involves engaging with relevant government agencies, institutions, contractors and private-sector stakeholders to develop and facilitate marine-service opportunities and long-term contracts.
Habibu holds a Master of Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Education/Economics from Bayero University Kano. He has also undertaken professional training in Oracle Database Administration, Contract Law and Oil Trading Contracts.
